If you iron the label onto freezer paper, it makes it easier to sign with a permanent ink pen. Some prefer scrapbook pens, it has cleaner lines. You can also use pinking shears to cut the edges after you iron on the freezer paper, they make nice gifts for a quilter or a great item to sell at craft shows.
